AGREE I don't want all the poor lil guys to die! We need food! it is so crazy to see how something so small makes such a big problem! people just need to be educated! everything in the world has a purpose.
I agree that the transportation of the bees across the country does not make sense. Bees naturally cross pollinate between plants. The focused pollination seems to be detrimental to the bees and the plants and trees. How can we naturally increase the number of bees such that they are not stressed and not transported across the country? How do we get them back to a more natural sustainable environment/habitat? I definitely agree that changes need to be made, I didn't realize how vital bees are to so many different plants/foods. My question is, how do we know what those necessary changes are?
I agree! I do not think we should let nature do its job and let the bees do they work, cause we have to say: they're pretty good at it. I believe that we should be taking precautions to make sure they are not harmed.
I had no idea bee's were so interesting. I don't know whether to agree or disagree but I look forward to hearing your speech so I can learn more and maybe then take a stance!
Brittany - I missed your informative speech. So, I'm kind of ignorant on bees. It's fantastic that you are so passionate and knowledgable about bees. The agricultural community needs people like you. Look forward to your talk.
I agree. Bee lived with us for centuries so if we take care of them, they'll take care of us. What is more better than sweet honey right? So we wouldn't want bee to become extinct. They are part of the eco-system and we must be aware of the things we do. This include farming technique to industrial processing. Anything like this would definitely cause harm or stress to them. Great topic, looking to hear more from you.
i agree, we need to make sure the bees are comfortable and not stressed. i dont personally like bees, but i know that they are vital to our food supply, vegitation, and everything else. no matter what everything has a purpose and if you take something out of a habitat many other things will suffer.
GREAT! Use this to discuss different areas of the bee farming process that induce the most stress. Ways to prevent these/ alternative solutions. Also great job on you informative speech!
I completely agree. Our entire food supply system needs restructuring. We have broken so many of nature's cycles with our industrial farming and manufacturing techniques. We have an oversupply of food, way more than we need to consume. It comes as no surprise that bees are stressed out trying to pollinate everything. Even humans feel that way. We have a tendency to solve problems that create bigger ones. We could learn a lot from the order in nature, and the miracle of bees. Can't wait for more!
I agree. We need to make it and issue like pesticides were and still are. If we do nothing we could see major problems. Make sure you focus own a particular solution though.
