  2. People definitely deserve human rights whether legal or illegal immigrants. No one should be a slave to any other human being. Regardless of their immigration status they should be removed from trafficking situations. This does not necessarily mean in my mind that they now stay in this country if they are illegal immigrants. Going home may not be an option for them however, so what then? And who pays for it?

  3. That is a big problem, because of the discipline issue. Noone there would like to please them. It will only make more people from anywhere to come to the US. They might be afraid of that.

  5. I agree! Every single person should be given human rights. But I also agree with Corinna, and I'm interested in what could possibly be done to help solve this issue.

  6. I agree! I do NOT think we should leave these people in these horrible situations and not do anything about it! To leave it to the victims to get out of the situation on their own and let this horrible problem be continuing on America soil is a crime in itself. We should not let the fact that they are illegal immigrants get in the way. They are still human beings!

  8. I, too, agree with your thesis. Finding a solution is a complicated matter. However, to provide illegal immigrants the dignity of having human rights so that they aren't enslaved to others is the right thing to do.

  9. i agree, it is not their fault they are forced to work, live, or serve others against their will, and they should be protected. we are all human beings and we should all help other human beings out.

  10. I agree. The problem of human trafficking is so worse that we should be aware of it. In term of human right, it is true for everyone to be equal but in term of legitimate, they shouldn't migrates to other country. But overall, the problem of human trafficking shouldn't even exist in modern day. Great topic and I am looking forward to it.

  11. Definitely! It is an international issue, one that should be dealt with by someone like the United Nations because it doesn't matter where or who you are. The United States does not want american citizens to be sold in other countries, so we should not allow citizens of other countries to be trafficked here.

  12. I agree it is against human rights to be enslaved. But I think you can go further with your thesis. How do you quell the demand for "free" labor not just the supply? How can you ensure that people are fairly compensated for their labor, not exploited?

  14. I agree. We need to make a change and make sure they are given human rights. We all to often let issues like this go off by the waste side but I have a feeling it is becoming an issue more Americans and people across the world are realizing. I hope with the realization we will see change.

  15. I agree with you on this topic, but i wonder what we can do to solve the human trafficing problem. Of course recognizing that illegal immagrants are still people and need to be protected is a big step.
